San Diego Pumps $15.4M into Affordable Housing Dreams

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria has approved $15.4 million in funding for affordable housing projects. The money will go towards the city's Bridge to Home initiative, which aims to construct 400 new affordable homes, including 25% designated for homeless individuals. The funding will support five selected projects, including Hillcrest Hall, Humble Heart, Palm City Transit Village, Rose Creek Village, and Terrasini Senior Apartments. The mayor's goal is to address the housing crisis and provide affordable homes for low-income individuals, families, and seniors.
