Report shows San Diego rents dropping, tenants disagree

According to Realtor.com's report, rental prices for homes with up to two bedrooms in San Diego County have decreased by 2% from October 2022. Despite this, many renters have experienced rent increases of 5-9%, and due to high housing prices and rising interest rates, many San Diegans are unable to buy a home. Meanwhile, new apartment complexes are being built in hopes of lowering demand and prices, but they won't be ready for at least a year.
