Forbes Advisor recently conducted a report analyzing 96 big U.S. cities and found that San Diego was the No. 14 worst city for renters. The average rent price for a one-bedroom apartment in San Diego is $2,012.00, with 52.78% of households spending 30% or more of their income on rent. San Diego placed third-highest in rental prices for one-bedroom apartments and ninth-highest for two-bedroom apartments. Only 25% of available rentals in San Diego offer a pool.
